PROGRAMME REQUIREMENT

PhD with Thesis

• Compulsory courses - Seminar Proposal (SPS 6903) and Doctoral’s Research (SPS6999).

• Students are required to pass Comprehensive Examination, which should be taken only after completion of all coursework within the 5 semesters of cumulative enrolment.

• The thesis will be examined and viva voce will be conducted in the final semester to determine the student’s competency in the field of study.

MSc with Thesis

• Compulsory courses - Seminar Proposal (SPS 5903) , Master’s Research (SPS5999) and Research Methodology ( 3 Credit )

• The thesis will be examined and viva voce will be conducted in the final semester to determine the student’s competency in the field of study.

Duration of Study

• Doctoral Degree Programmes
The minimum and maximum durations of study are two  (2) years and five (5) years respectively.
 
• Master Degree Programmes
The minimum and maximum durations of study are one (1) year and three (3) years respectively.
