6 October 2023 - The Institute of Bioscience (IBS) conducted a Self-Assessment of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) on September 25-26, 2023. This evaluation was carried out internally by the IBS EKSA Auditors, following the criteria and guidelines set by the university EKSA committee. There were six EKSA evaluation criteria assessed, including the main implementation requirements, workplace/ office space, public areas, environmental safety, departmental environmental zones, and special areas.

The highlight of this program was the EKSA Recognition Program Evaluation, which took place on October 5-6, 2023. The EKSA Recognition Program Evaluation featured competition in six categories, i.e. Best Staff Room, Best File Room/ Space, Best Zone, Best Staff Cubicle, Best Meeting Room, and Best Information Corner for EKSA. IBS invited Mr. Mohamad Johadi Iskandar Che Jamil, who serves as the EKSA IBS Facilitator, to act as a judge in determining the winners for each category. He was joined by Mr. Mohamad Ismail Baharom (Head of the EKSA IBS Audit Committee), and Mrs. Noor Nadia Mohd Sohaili (Head of the EKSA IBS Promotion Committee). In acknowledgment and appreciation of all staff, IBS will host a ceremony to announce the winners on October 20, 2023.
