5 April 2023 – In conjunction with the arrival of noble month, Ramadhan year 1444H, IBS management in collaboration with Kelab Kebajikan dan Sosial Institut Biosains (KESIB) Universiti Putra Malaysia invited Yang Berbahagia Prof. Madya Dr. Mat Rofa Ismail as a speaker to deliver talk with topic “The Touch of The Qur’an Toward Western Scientist”. The program was started at 9.00 am to 11.30 am and was held in Auditorium, IBS. The speaker was a former lecturer in Faculty of Science and now working as Freelance Preacher.

This program attracted many UPM’s staff especially from IBS. Part of content delivered in the talk by Prof. Madya Dr. Mat Rofa Ismail was the right of mukjizat of the Qur’an that had touch heart of Western Scientist to convert into Muslim. Among them were Marmaduke Pickthall (Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall), Roger Garaudy, Leopold Weiss Alias (Muhammad Asad), Prof. Thomas Ballantyne, Dr. Maurice Bucaille, Prof. Yoshidi Kazai, Dr. Arthur Alison, Dr. Ian Weber, Gary Miller. They were experts in their respective fields such as language, astronomy, biology, economics, and archaeology. Participants were stunned with research facts presented by the speaker throughout the program.

Hopefully, this beneficial program able to increase spirit of love toward the Qur’an by Muslim staff in UPM.
