The collaborative meeting was held on 14 September 2020 at Kesidang Utama Meeting Room, Institute of Bioscience (IBS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). It was chaired by the Director of IBS, Prof. Dr. Zunita Zakaria and attended by four representatives from MAKNA (Mrs. Farahida Mohd Farid (General Manager), Dr. Choong Pei Feng (Research Administrator), Mrs. Ashira Ahmad (Research Administrator), and Mr. Edwin Wong (Legal representative) and four representatives from UPM (Associate Prof. Dr. Chia Suet Lin (Head of Laboratory of CANRES), Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Khatijah Yusoff (Associate Researcher of CANRES), Associate Prof. Dr. Syahrilnizam Abdullah (Deputy Director of IBS), and Mrs. Nurul Nazira Mohamed (Secretary of the Head of Laboratory of CANRES). In the meeting, several agendas were discussed in order to strengthen the collaboration between CANRES and MAKNA.
