31 January 2023 – Microbial Culture Collection Unit (UNiCC), Institute of Bioscience received  3 visitors from the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO)  led by En. Razhuan Bin Hussin, Senior Director, Patent Science & Traditional Knowledge Division. The objectives of the visit was to observe the operations and services provided by UNiCC. The visit began by an introduction of members followed by presentations from UPM and MyIPO, and visit to UNiCC’s facility. Discussion was then focused on UNiCC’s readiness  to become one of National Deposit Authority (NDA) for patent registration in Malaysia.
