17th June 2025 – The Training Workshop on Chenomx NMR Analysis, organized by the Natural Medicines and Products Research Laboratory (NaturMeds), Institute of Bioscience (IBS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), was held in the NaturMeds A Meeting Room, IBS. This workshop was attended by researchers and students from both within and outside UPM.

This workshop aimed to provide participants with exposure to and knowledge of NMR spectrum analysis and metabolite identification using the Chenomx NMR Analysis software, with applications in metabolomics-based research. The lecture and training session were conducted by Mr. Azizul Isha, a Research Officer from NaturMeds. A discussion and Q&A session between the speaker and participants was also held at the end of the practical session.

Overall, the workshop received positive feedback from participants and achieved its main objectives. Participants also expressed their appreciation to the organizers and hoped that similar workshops would continue in the future to further enhance understanding and improve the quality of research outcomes in conducting metabolomics-based research.
