29 January 2024 - The Microbial Culture Collection Unit (UNiCC) has successfully conducted a training session on the Fundamental of Microbiology for 17 participants from Bio-Angle Vacs Sdn. Bhd. Throughout the training, participants engaged in a lecture on “Introduction to Microbiology”, delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ina Salwany Md Yasin (UNiCC’s Coordinator). The laboratory session focused on imparting essential knowledge, including the significance of safety in the laboratory, aseptic techniques, diverse bacterial subculture handling techniques, and the preparation and examination of Gram stains under a light microscope.
