28 Februari 2025 – The Technical Presentation for Scheme C – February 2025 Session was successfully conducted and attended by IBS laboratory staff. The first presenter, Ms Ainaa Syafiqah Mohd Alias, a Science Assistant Officer at the UPM Microbial Culture Collection (UPM-MCC), delivered a presentation on an introduction to media, methods, and tips for preparing agar plates and slants. In addition to her lecture, she also provided a brief demonstration on media preparation techniques. The second presenter, Ms Arbaah Md Salleh, a Science Officer at the Vaccine and Biomolecule Laboratory (VacBio), shared insights on the HA/HI test and also engaged participants with a series of questions related to the topic.

This monthly programme is organised by the IBS Laboratory Services Management Secretariat. It is hoped that such knowledge-sharing sessions will further enhance the understanding of IBS laboratory staff in handling specialised equipment/techniques and encourage the exchange of ideas among colleagues.
