25 April 2025 – The Talent@IBS Programme for the Technical Presentation of Scheme C, April 2025 Session, was successfully conducted and attended by laboratory staff of the Institute of Bioscience (IBS). It took place at the NaturMeds B Seminar Room and the Biodiversity Unit, IBS. The first presenter was Mr. Rusdam bin Awang, a Science Officer at the UPM-MAKNA Cancer Research Laboratory (CANRES). He delivered a lecture on Preparation and Storage of Cell Culture Media. The second presenter was Mdm. Julia binti Abdul Azia, a Science Officer at the Biodiversity Unit (UBD). She presented a session titled Basic Techniques in Plant Tissue Culture.

This monthly programme is organised by the IBS Laboratory Services Management Secretariat. It is hoped that through such sharing sessions, laboratory staff at IBS will gain greater exposure to the handling of specialised equipment/techniques and benefit from the exchange of ideas among colleagues.
