24 April 2025 - The Institute of Bioscience (IBS), Universiti Putra Malaysia, brought festive cheer to life with its 2025 Mega Raya Aidilfitri Celebration, themed " Meriahnya Lain Macam di Kampung Halaman." Organised by the Institute of Bioscience Social Welfare Club (KESIB) with the official support of the IBS management, the event captured the true spirit of Aidilfitri for the IBS community. The celebration began with an inspiring address from the Deputy Director of IBS, Professor Dr Ina Salwany Md. Yassin, setting a warm and welcoming tone for the festivities.

The vibrant atmosphere was enhanced by a variety of traditional food stalls, accompanied by the much-anticipated annual Most Creative Stall competition. Judging of the stalls was conducted by former staff members, Tuan Haji Abdul Rahman Othman and Mr. Mohd Razif Ahmad. The 3R Raya Cheer Quiz also captured attention with enthusiastic participation from the IBS community.  

The celebration was further enlivened with festive song performances by IBS staff and management and announcement of winner for the Most Creative Stall competition. The Directorate Office booth emerged as the champion, followed by the Vaccine and Biomolecule Laboratory and the Medicinal and Natural Product Research Laboratory. The award for Best Matching Attire went to Ms. Irmazian Mohd Shukor dan Mr. Salahudin Mohd Raof.
