SERDANG, April 15: The Institute of Bioscience (IBS) recently received a visit from the Halal Product Research Institute (IPPH), consisting of 15 participants. The purpose of this visit was to provide clearer insight and to facilitate the exchange of experiences regarding the implementation of EKSA practices at IBS. The visit began with a brief briefing session on EKSA implementation at IBS, followed by a sharing session where both institutes discussed their respective experiences in executing EKSA initiatives.
Visitors were also taken on a tour to various locations including the Directorate Office, CANRES Lab, VacBio Lab, UPM-MCC Lab, research file room, stationery storage room, pantry, meeting room, postgraduate student room, EKSA Main Corner, and the surau, to observe EKSA implementation firsthand. Each area had a designated person-in-charge (PIC) who provided explanations about the respective spaces.
It is hoped that this visit will serve as a source of motivation and inspiration for both institutes to further enhance their EKSA implementation and achieve their intended objectives.
