11 April 2025 – Laboratory of Vaccine and Biomolecules (VacBio), in collaboration with Parse Biosciences and Everlife-Research Instruments, hosted the third series of the Edu@VacBio seminar entitled “Smash The Limits of Single Cell Sequencing”, aimed at expanding knowledge and application of single cell sequencing technologies.
The seminar took place at the Auditorium of the Institute of Bioscience, UPM, and was attended by 23 participants, including researchers, postgraduate students, and staff interested in expanding their knowledge of advanced genomic technologies. Dr. Siddharth Singh, Global Channel Sales
Manager at Parse Biosciences, led the session and shared valuable insights into the fast-evolving field of single-cell sequencing.
The seminar began with an introduction to the fundamentals of single cell sequencing, followed by a segment on experimental design and sample preparation. Participants were then guided through the processes of quality control, sequencing, and post-sequencing data analysis, emphasizing the importance of robust methodologies and accurate interpretation of data.
The session wrapped up with an engaging Q&A segment, where participants had the opportunity to interact directly with Dr. Singh, discussing technical challenges and exploring potential applications relevant to their research. A group photo session was held to mark the end of the event.
