23 April 2024 – The Institute of Bioscience Welfare and Social Club (KESIB) organized the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Mega Raya Aidilfitri Celebration, which was graced by the presence of YBhg. Dato' Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, Vice Chancellor of UPM. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ismi Arif Ismail, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic and International of UPM, and YBhg. Prof. Dr. Zunita Zakaria, Director of Institute of Bioscience (IBS).

The celebration was further enlivened by a variety of traditional Raya dishes, including ketupat, rendang, lemang, and nasi impit. Additionally, main courses such as chicken rice, soto, laksa, and lontong were served, alongside desserts like fresh fruits, kuih muih, and roti jala. The uniqueness of these dishes stemmed from the fact that they were all prepared and provided by the IBS staff.

The event also featured several games for attendees, with the highlight being a game involving the IBS management. Activities such as karaoke, mind-testing competitions, and Raya-themed dress-up competitions were held to foster camaraderie among the IBS members. 

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the guests who attended the celebration at the IBS, members of the KESIB committee and IBS staff who contributed to the successful organization of the UPM Mega Raya Aidilfitri Celebration 2024.
