15 April 2026, The 2025 Institute of Bioscience (IBS) Annual Performance Review Workshop was convened as a strategic platform to evaluate and review the annual performance of all internal committees for the 2025 calendar year. The primary objective of this session was to evaluate the overall performance of IBS committees against the 2025 identify performance gaps and strengthen strategic alignment moving forward.

The objectives are to conduct a comprehensive review of the annual achievements of each IBS Committee, to facilitate a structured environment for the presentation of performance data and committee-specific milestones and to identify operational challenges and formulate strategic measures for performance enhancement in the subsequent year.

Attended by 24 designated participants, including Committee Chairpersons and Management Members. Each Committee Chairperson delivered a formal presentation detailing their respective performance metrics in accordance with the established tentative schedule and the structured presentations were followed by evaluation and strategic discussion sessions.

The workshop successfully generated an integrated summary of IBS's 2025 performance, providing a clear audit trail of achievements. Several key operational issues were identified, leading to the formulation of actionable recommendations for 2026 implementation.  The session successfully synchronized the efforts of various committees, reinforcing the institute’s strategic direction.

In summary, the 2025 Institute of Bioscience Annual Performance Review Workshop achieved its stated objectives with high efficiency. The success of the program was driven by strong commitment from all committee members, reflecting IBS’s continuous pursuit of operational excellence and academic distinction.
