Education and work history

Dr. Ani Azaman’s primary research interest is in microalgal biotechnology which focused on the production of various metabolites content in microalgae, the transcriptomic analysis of microalgae under different cultivation conditions and identification of molecular markers for manipulation of the microalgae for various purposes. Her current research interest is to identify locally isolated microalgae which has potential to be applied in many areas such as health and food industries for the sustainable supply of energy and resources.
