Education and work history

Professor Dr. Nurulfiza Mat Isa’s main research interest is in the field of vaccinology and bioinformatics, including gene editing using CRISPR technology, host-pathogen interactions and nanobiotechnology on living and non-living biosystems. Her current work is focusing on poultry and COVID-19 vaccines innovation, and the metagenomic insights into the microbial diversity and antimicrobial resistance genes network analysis. She is a member of the COVID-19 Genomics Global -Train Asia Focus Group.
