Education and work history

Associate Professor Dr. Noor Baity’s primary research interest is in the field of plant molecular pathology, focusing on plant-fungal interaction and finding greener alternatives for plant disease management. She is currently working on the molecular and genetic aspects of the fungal pathogen causing Fusarium wilt in bananas, the soil microbiome profile of healthy and infected bananas, and biological control for the Fusarium wilt disease.
