10 March 2023 – Institute of Bioscience (IBS) in collaboration with Kelab Kebajikan dan Sosial IBS (KESIB) had participated in Sambutan Mega Raya Aidilfitri 2023 that was held in different locations in UPM simultaneously. IBS was grouped under the Cluster G with other institutes and faculties and the celebration was held in the Banquet Hall of UPM. IBS’s booth was decorated with a Malay Traditional theme; while for the food menu, fruit rojak and freshly cut fruits were served to visitors.

Malay Traditional Theme with the display of Jawi scripts, freshly served rojak and fruits, menu creativity and cleanliness of the booth as well as the cooperation between group members had become essential elements for IBS in winning the first runner- up place in Raya Booth Competition Cluster G. The exuberance was further heightened with the victory of Mr. Meor Shafaras bin Meor Sapelin in the Raya Song Karaoke Competition under the category of “People’s Choice”. KESIB would like to express the deepest appreciation to IBS members, who had actively participated in the food preparation and booth decoration,  in succeeding the Majlis Sambutan Mega Raya Aidilfitri 2023 Cluster G.
