15 August 2023 - The “Forum on Open Science: Open Access Publication” organised by the Natural Medicines and Products Research Laboratory (NaturMeds), Institute of Bioscience (IBS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) was held at the Auditorium of IBS, UPM. The invited panels of this forum were Prof. Emeritus Dr. Geoffrey A. Cordell (College of Pharmacy, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL & Natural Products Inc., Evanston IL), Prof. Dr. Noorsaadah Abdul Rahman (Professor, Institute of Advanced Studies, Universiti Malaya; Secretary-General, Academy of Sciences Malaysia and President of Malaysia Open Science Alliance) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fazirulhisyam Hashim (Deputy Director, Research Management Centre, UPM). Dr. Mohd Mokrish Md. Ajat (Associate Researcher, NaturMeds) was appointed as the moderator for this forum. The forum lasted for three hours and the topic of discussion was on the open access publication in science today.
