16 May 2023 - UPM-MAKNA Cancer Research Laboratory (CANRES), Institute of Bioscience, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has organised a CANRES Webinar Series 2 (2023) on “Extracellular Vesicles: A Multi-faceted Player in Cancer” via Google Meet platform. The talk was delivered by Dr. Nadiah Abu, a Research Fellow from UKM Medical Molecular Biology Institute (UMBI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The lecture was about the research conducted on extracellular vehicles (EVs) from different angles of approaches for translational applications in cancer such as cancer biomarkers in chemoresistance, cancer vaccines, and immunomodulation. The webinar was attended by more than 100 participants, including academic staff, researchers, and students from UPM and other universities. Good responses and feedback were received from the audience at the end of the webinar.
