Education and work history

Associate Professor Dr Mas Jaffri’s primary research interest is in the field of nanobiotechnology, focusing on the design and fabrication of nanomediated delivery systems for biologics for a myriad of applications in the fields of medical, agriculture, and aquaculture. His current work involves the development of drug-encapsulated nanoparticles for anticancer therapy, microbial-derived nanomaterials, as well as smart-feed technologies for fish larvae. He is currently the President of the Malaysian Society for Microbiology and an affiliate member of the Young Scientist Network- Academy of Sciences Malaysia.
