Education and work history

Dr. Haslina Ahmad is an Associate Professor at the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, UPM. She earned her BSc (Hons.) Chemistry from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2005 and her Ph.D (Chemistry) from University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 2009. Dr. Haslina Ahmad’s research focuses on the synthesis of novel photochemically and/or electrochemically active metal centres to produce functional molecular architectures, such as potential anticancer drugs, biosensors, anion sensors etc. Most of her research output appears in top chemistry journals such as Chemical Communication, Chemistry—A European Journal, Scientific Reports etc. Dr. Haslina Ahmad is actively associated with different national and international societies and academies. Dr. Haslina Ahmad gain recognition among the honourable subject experts with her contributions made. She has been appreciated by several reputed awards and funding support.
