Education and work history

Dr. Armania Nurdin is a Senior Lecturer affiliated with the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia. She earned her BSc in Biomedical Science and MSc in Pharmacology from UPM and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Tohoku University, Japan. Her research interest is mainly focused on the identification of biomarkers for the diagnosis and prognosis of prostate and bladder cancer. Besides that, she is also involved in research related to drug discovery from natural products for cancer treatment. She has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed scientific papers and presented works at many national and international conferences. She is actively associated with different societies and academies. Her academic career is decorated with several reputed awards and funding.
