31 July 2025 - The Institute of Bioscience (IBS), Universiti Putra Malaysia, welcomed a visit from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK), involving two main groups: PutraLMas staff and FPSK Science Officers.

The visit by PutraLMas staff focused on sharing Laboratory Services Management, while the group of Science Officers was exposed to aspects of organisational structure, income generation, Malaysia Plan (RMK) planning, laboratory management, and chemical management. Also present at the session was FPSK Head of Administration, Mrs. Hasliza Zakaria. The main briefing was delivered by Mr. Rafiuz Zaman Haroun, Head of the IBS Laboratory Services Management Secretariat.

The visit is expected to strengthen collaboration between FPSK and IBS in laboratory management and foster knowledge sharing towards enhancing the efficiency of laboratory services at UPM.
