22 April 2026 – The Registrar’s Office conducted the Organisational and Staffing Self-Audit (AKPO) at the Institute of Bioscience (IBS), held at the Kesidang Utama Meeting Room. The audit was led by the auditor, Mr. Ahmad Afeeq bin Roslan from the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), UPM.

The opening session was officiated by the Director of IBS, YBhg. Prof. Dr. Zunita Zakaria, together with two (2) staff members from the IBS Administration and Finance Section, namely Ms. Shamilah Samian, Senior Assistant Registrar, and Ms. Nur Haizum Halmi, Office Secretary.

The AKPO aims to ensure that PTJs comply with staffing principles, service scheme policies, and the established organisational structure. Its implementation is expected to serve as a mechanism for improving human resource management, while also ensuring that PTJs optimise University expenditure through creative and innovative staffing practices to strengthen efficient and effective service delivery.

The audit also involved several IBS staff from various service schemes who were selected as auditees for the purpose of reviewing and validating their respective Job Descriptions (JD).
