8 May 2025 – A delegation visit from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), consisting of researchers from the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Faculty of Educational Studies, and the Institute of Bioscience, was held at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Poh, Perak.

The visit was led by Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Mustafa Awang Kechik, Head of the Green Transformation Project: Solar-IoT Smart Clean Water Monitoring System At Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Poh, Perak, along with 16 delegation members. The purpose of the visit was to transfer knowledge related to green technology applications, particularly the use of solar energy and the Internet of Things (IoT), to the students, teachers, and the Kampung Poh community, specifically in monitoring water quality.

During the visit, Professor Dr. Mohammad Nor Amal Azmai delivered a talk on the importance of water quality. Indirectly, STEM-based knowledge (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) was also transferred to the students and teachers of Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Poh.
