3 September 2024 – The emergency evacuation training at the Naturmeds A building was successfully conducted, involving not only nine members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) but also all residents of the building. The exercise began promptly at 10:05 a.m. when the emergency alarm was activated by Mr. Muhammad Redza Omar, followed by the activation of the smoke machine by Mr. Ahmad Fauzi Mokhtar.

Associate Professor Dr. Siti Munirah Mohd Faudzi, serving as the Deputy Incident Commander, and Mr. Salahudin Mohd Raof, Head of Operation Section of NaturMeds A, efficiently carried out their duties, ensuring the building was successfully evacuated within two minutes, as planned. Also involved in the training were the auxiliary police of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), an ambulance from the University Health Center, and the UPM First Responder Unit, which arrived shortly after the emergency call was made.

Immediately after the training, a post-mortem meeting was held with all parties involved. Mr. Hasmi Sulaiman, a representative from UPM First Responder Unit, gave an excellent and satisfactory rating, noting that the training was conducted smoothly and met all the necessary criteria.
