Adding Value To Food And Nutraceutical: Extraction Of Subcritical Water And Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Workshop

Laboratory of Molecular Biomedicine, Institute of Bioscience in collaboration with Bumificient Sdn. Bhd. have organized a workshop on "Adding Value To Food And Nutraceutical: Extraction Of Water And subcritical Supercritical Carbon Dioxide" on 11-12 April 2017 at the Laboratory of Molecular Biomedicine, Institute of Bioscience. The workshop was attended by staffs of the Laboratory of Molecular Biomedicine, industrial training students from Universiti Teknologi MARA and also students from the International Islamic University.

Participants were given exposure on the principles and application techniques of subcritical water extraction and supercritical CO2. This workshop also acts as platform for cooperation related to the green-extraction of natural products.
