Institut Biosains mempunyai 4 laboratori dan 4 unit strategik. Setiap laboratori mengandungi penyelidik bersekutu dan Penyelidik Interim. Penyelidik Bersekutu dilantik oleh Universiti bagi menjalankan penyelidikan yang menjurus kepada nic IBS iaitu bioubatan dan terapeutik. Penyelidik Bersekutu Interim adalah lantikan dalaman IBS bagi menyokong aktiviti penyelidikan yang dijalankan.
